Accessibility
Last updated: September 30, 2026
We want everyone who moves cargo in Tanzania to be able to use Cargo Motives, including people who use screen readers, magnification, larger text, or a keyboard instead of a touch screen. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we've done
- Text and background colours are chosen for readable contrast, in both light and dark mode.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions, and icon-only buttons have spoken labels.
- Forms have visible labels, show errors next to the field they're about (not only in colour), and can be completed with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline on our web pages.
- The app follows your phone's text-size setting, and supports English and Swahili.
- Our web pages work without images and have a "skip to content" link.
Known limitations
- Maps (route planning and live tracking) are visual. The same information — addresses, distance, status and last-known location — is also shown as text.
- Our internal staff tools are designed for desktop screens.
Tell us about a problem
If something in Cargo Motives is hard to use with your device or assistive technology, please tell us through Help & Support in the app or at support@cargomotives.com . Say what you were trying to do and what device you use, and we'll respond and work on a fix.
